Could Matthew McConaughey be a guest star on ‘Magic Mike Live Las Vegas’?

Matthew McConaughey could join Channing Tatum in a Vegas stage show of “Magic Mike”? Be still, somebody’s heart — not my heart, but somebody’s, I’m sure.

Before anyone gets too excited over the prospect of these two movie sex symbols smashed together, please note this is a long-shot possibility, uttered during an interview on “E! News Thursday.”

McConaughey was asked if he’d reprise his role as strip club owner Dallas, from the blockbuster male strip club movie, when “Magic Mike Live Las Vegas” opens in the Hard Rock Hotel next year.

“I wasn’t invited. I didn’t even get the call,” he said, and he probably didn’t get the call to perform in Vegas, because who in their right mind would think the Oscar winner would say yes?

However, when asked if he’d do a guest role in Vegas?

“To show up and just Dallas it out? That’d be fun!” he said.

Maybe it is possible. Hard to say. It does seem like McConaughey was made for a place like Vegas, based on his pre-Oscar party past.

WHO’D GO SEE JESSICA SIMPSON IN VEGAS?

In other Vegas stage news, there’s a spitting contest going on between tabloid sites about whether Jessica Simpson wants to do a Vegas residency.

In Touch reported the singer-turned-businesswoman is “hell-bent” on having a Vegas residency, complete with high-tech graphics, to become “a Vegas legend.”

Sounds unlikely.

Gossip Cop then swooped in on the story Thursday saying In Touch’s source is wrong, since Gossip Cop has its own Simpson “rep” source saying this Simpson-on-the-Strip notion is “not true.”

Ahem. A decade ago, I watched concertgoers stream out of a Vegas venue while laughing, because Simpson appeared to be lip-syncing to the wrong song. Legal asterisk (to borrow a phrase from Russell Brand): I have no proof she was lip-syncing to the wrong song. That was what I felt was happening.

KESHA COMEBACK IN THE CLUB

It’s been awhile since Kesha, the artist formerly known as Ke$ha, performed in a nightclub around town, but Intrigue nightclub on Thursday announced she’s playing its shiny new venue on June 23 and 25, and July 23.

Yes, it’s three nights, spread out over a month. Intrigue is calling this a “Vegas mini-residency.”

It is a legit concert in the club. Kesha is promising to sing her hits from some years ago, such as “Tik Tok,” “Your Love is My Drug” and “We R Who We R.”

Unlike normal Vegas concerts, however, tickets are broken down into male and female prices, which is beginning to feel a tad bit antiquated in 2016.

Men tickets for Kesha: $61 after taxes.

Women tickets for Kesha: $32 after taxes.

Dear Vegas clubs and dayclubs, it might be time to pull up to the 21st century with your ideas about male-female identity, and bite the equality bullet.

But back to Kesha. This could be part of Kesha Rose Sebert’s comeback. Five years ago, she played Vegas clubs/pools and international stages regularly, and as she told me once, “Tik Tok’s” debaucherous music video was based on a good time she once had in Las Vegas. We influence people in Las Vegas.

But she disappeared for a while, doing rehab in 2014, dropping the “$” from her name, and she was busy suing producer Dr. Luke for a host of ugly claims, all of which were rejected in April to the dismay of Kesha and various female music stars feeling her solidarity.

FATOR HONORS SISTER

To help with fundraising, Mirage headliner Terry Fator gave meet-and-greets to VIP donors of the Voices for a Cure fundraiser for the Arthritis Foundation.

This isn’t your normal charity sighting. Fator’s sister Debi died last year because of complications from arthritis, after having been diagnosed at age 18 with rheumatoid arthritis.

Fator signed a puppet for, and hung out with, an 11-year-old, TJ Stephens, who has been dealing with arthritis since he was 8. Then all the VIPs saw Fator’s show.
