Iggy Azalea attracts attention with selfie, night out with French Montana

Newly single Iggy Azalea cranked her fame up to 10 this weekend by posting a Vegas-posterior selfie then hooking up with a Khloe Kardashian ex.

First on Saturday, Azalea Instagrammed a backside “#Vegas” selfie in a bikini in what looks like a hotel suite bathroom. That was a big hit, thanks to her all-the-rage bubble butt.

Then the Australian rapper showed up with rapper French Montana at Planet Hollywood to watch Jennifer Lopez’s show.

Azalea is fresh off a fiance-breakup with L.A. Laker Nick Young, who impregnated a different woman while Azalea was defending his cheating in the press.

Montana off-and-on-and-offed the tallest Kardashian sister for quite some time.

So Azalea and Montana next met up at the Aria hotel’s Jewel nightclub, where Azalea, in concert, sang “Fancy” and other hits, met fans, hung with friends, and Snapchatted.French Montana

Azalea and Montana got “cozy,” danced and left together, according to E! News. I wonder what they did next.

Curious: Are you one of those people envious of stars getting press for hook-ups? Or do you still enjoy the down-low?

HAPPY 47TH, J-LO

Hakkasan DJ Calvin Harris danced with J-Lo at her villa birthday party late Saturday, posting a photo of himself, Lopez, gold-chained Montana and Kim Kardashian West holding a birthday cake.

Wynn-Encore DJ Zedd tweeted a birthday photo of him and Lopez; she’s holding a wineglass low in the photo, as if to try to keep it out of the picture.

KIM’S CHIPPED TOOTH AND TSWIFT FEUD

Kim Kardashian chipped her tooth before flying to Vegas, so she got emergency dentistry then landed here with famous girlfriends so she could be a paid host at Hakkasan nightclub.

Entourage: Larsa Pippen, Carla DiBello and Maria Menounos.

At Hakkasan, Kardashian did what she has done at Vegas clubs for nearly a decade: She took selfies with fans.

Even before Kardashian blew up, even before the word “selfie” existed, she has used that fan-friendly method regularly to great effect. Even I have a selfie with her, and I didn’t even ask for it. One day on a carpet, she just grabbed a camera and, snap, temporary immortalization.

In Hakkasan, Kardashian fed her Taylor Swift feud on Snapchat by lip-syncing the lyric, from husband Kanye West’s song “Famous,” where he sings he might have sex with Swift because he made “that (expletive)” famous.

In a nutshell: Kardashian and West claim Swift approved that song’s music video, although Swift claims she didn’t know about the lyric calling her a (expletive). She accused them of character assassination.

“You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that (expletive)’ in front of the entire world,” Swift Instagrammed, which could be a sympathetic point except Swift is famous for singing about ex-boyfriends in front of the whole world. Did she get their permission for every lyric?

ANOTHER EX WITH A STORY

At Azalea’s show at club Jewel: Karrueche Tran danced at a VIP table as did MTV’s “Ridiculousness” co-host Steelo Brim.

Tran’s been publicly feuding with ex Chris Brown for many seasons, although I believe they’re enjoying a quiet detente, while she parties in Vegas and Brown is no longer a marquee regular singer at Drai’s nightclub after calling workers there racist.

SIGHTINGS

Floyd Mayweather Jr. went onstage with rapper friends 50 Cent and Fat Joe Saturday night at Drai’s nightclub, while rock band A Day to Remember was in the crowd.

Actress Christina Milian and friends drank and snacked at Aria’s Liquid pool lounge.

Actor Cedric Yarbrough ate at Tao nightclub Friday during a friend’s bachelor party, which ended up at Tao nightclub.

Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kyrie Irving and 11 friends ate steak, sea bass, the shellfish platter and doughnuts this weekend at STK Steakhouse in The Cosmopolitan hotel.

Elsewhere in STK, DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings went with steak, salad and vodka-cranberry, while Manu Ginobili of the San Antonio Spurs returned to STK for filet, lil’ burgers and salad.

NBA star Kevin Durant helped celebrate DeAndre Jordan’s birthday at The Mirage hotel’s 1 Oak nightclub Friday, after Jordan ate at Tao restaurant.

And Chris Paul ate at Palazzo hotel’s Lavo restaurant then played blackjack in the Palazzo.
