Donald Trump Jr. says Las Vegas will see more of his father as Election Day nears — VIDEO

Nevada should expect more Trump as November’s general election inches nearer.

That’s according to Donald Trump Jr., who spent Thursday morning talking with local media on the 61st floor of the Trump International Hotel.

“Obviously I think you have to have some ad buys. We’ll spend some money here. We’ll spend more time here,” he said in a suite overlooking the Strip.

Polls show Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump Sr. is neck-and-neck with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in this battleground state, and Trump Jr. said his father’s blunt and outspoken mannerisms on the campaign trail will propel him to victory.

“To win here I think we just have to keep doing what we’re doing: Bring our message of common sense, of limited government, not having government in every aspect of your life,” he said. “I think there’s a lot of pragmatic people in this state, and that’s going to resonate with them.”

On Wednesday, Trump was campaigning for his father in Denver. The 38-year-old, who is Trump Sr.’s oldest child, sees himself as a “character witness” for his father.

“He’s a loyal guy first and foremost,” Trump said. “He’s a guy with a great sense of humor. He’s a caring guy.”

Trump also described his father as a “guy who’s created tens of thousands of jobs” over the past 40 years.

That separates Trump Sr. from the “political elite,” like Hillary Clinton, his son said.

“They haven’t created any jobs other than lobbyists, maybe a few people to delete some emails,” he said, reiterating a point he made on Twitter earlier that day.

Trump was adamant that his father had outperformed Clinton at Wednesday’s commander-in-chief forum.

“When the media says it’s a draw or he won, you know it’s a landslide,” he said. “I think it speaks volumes.”

And following his father’s fiery immigration policy speech last week, Trump said the campaign’s platform to “take care of Americans first” would attract Latino and Hispanic voters whose livelihoods were being “undercut by illegal immigration.”

“The Latino vote is going to be important in Nevada as well as elsewhere,” he said. “I think a lot of the values those voters jive with (is) what we’ve been talking about. It’s about jobs. It’s about education. It’s about hard work. It’s about family.”

Despite their heavy presence at the Republican National Convention and on the campaign trail, Trump said his father has no plans to make “a family business of politics.”

“He’s always been clear. We’re going to work in the business,” Trump said. “We’ll always maybe have his ear on some things, but he’s going to work with people who have experiences there.”
