Trump cancels Friday campaign visit to Las Vegas

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has canceled a Las Vegas rally a day after the event was announced.
The Trump campaign said Monday that a planned campaign stop to the South Point Arena originally scheduled for Friday afternoon is canceled.
The campaign didn’t provide any reason for the cancellation or a future date for when Trump will visit Southern Nevada.
Trump still plans to participate in a fundraising event for the Nevada GOP at Lake Tahoe on Friday night, according to the campaign and a Nevada Republican Party official.
Trump postponed plans to give an immigration policy speech in Denver on Thursday. Trump said
Monday that the 11 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. need a “fair but firm” policy.
That has raised questions about whether Trump is backtracking from previous pledges to push for mass deportations.
Trump has insisted he is not “flip-flopping” but he told immigration activists he might consider allowing those who have not committed crimes, beyond their immigration offenses, to obtain some sort of legal status.
Trump’s upcoming campaign events include a rally in Austin, Texas, on Tuesday and rallies in Tampa, Florida, and Jackson, Mississippi, on Wednesday.
