Fiorina-backing PAC announces Nevada leadership team

A super PAC that backs Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina announced its Nevada leadership team on Tuesday.

The 13-member leadership team includes for the political action committee three former chairwomen of the Nevada Republican Party: Amy Tarkanian, Earlene Forsythe and Lia Roberts.

The group backing Fiorina, a former chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard, is called Conservative, Authentic, Responsive Leadership for You and For America, or CARLY for America.

Other members are: Valerie Weber, a former Nevada assemblywoman; Sherese Settelmeyer, wife of State Sen. James Settelmeyer, R-Minden; Randy Greer, senior pastor at Trinity Life Center, Las Vegas; Kim Groberg, boutique manager at Christian Dior, Wynn Las Vegas; Dr. Rudy Manthei, Founder & Managing Partner Nevada Eye & Ear, Henderson; Dr. John Minoli of Minoli Plastic Surgery, Henderson; Fafie Moore, owner of Realty Executives of Nevada, Las Vegas; Tanya Moore, president of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber Business Council 2016; Dr. Mauricio E. Niño, a cardiac anesthesiologist and partner at Anesthesiologists Consultants Inc. of Las Vegas; and Dr. Leslie Sims, will join as part of the leadership team supporting Fiorina in Nevada.

Super PACs are not operated by campaigns but do advocate and spend money to support candidates.
