Two houses; one price: $4.2 million — PHOTOS

The latest listing in the guard-gated community of Terracina Seven Hills offers the ultimate in multigenerational housing.

For $4.2 million, two neighboring homes are being sold in a single sale and boast more than 13,500 square feet of living space at 1541 and 1543 Villa Rica Drive.

This also means two swimming pools, two spas and 10 car garage spaces between the two properties.

When the homeowners purchased 1541 Villa Rica Drive in 2009, an empty lot neighbored the 9,200-square-foot home. Upon contacting the homeowner’s association to ask if they could buy the lot next door to expand their driveway, they were told had to build a house if they purchase the lot.

In 2012, their “guest house” was completed. It features three bedrooms with en suite baths including a master bedroom on the first floor, as well as open floor plan kitchen, living and dining room.

A loft-style family room with a full wet bar is on the second floor along with two bedrooms with en suite baths as well as laundry and powder rooms.

Pocket doors on the main floor open to the outside, which has two covered patios, tennis court, lap pool with hot tub and a four-car garage.

The main home has five bedrooms and three baths as well as a media room, pool, fitness room and wet bar in the living room as well as upstairs and downstairs laundry rooms.

“There aren’t a lot of multigenerational homes like this,” said Urban Nest Realtor Margaretha Breytenbach.

There are multiple doors that lead out into the courtyard including in the kitchen, family room and office that features a waterfall, which pours into the beach-like pool that mimics the look of sand.

The master bedroom has a wraparound balcony with en suite bath that is nearly as big as the bedroom. It has a soaking tub, steam shower, refrigerator, separate vanities, two toilets and his and hers closets.

While the homeowners’ design inspiration came from casino mogul Steve Wynn for both homes, their main home was more influenced by the Bellagio.

They worked with Las Vegas-based interior designer Cary Vogel who specializes in mid to high-end residential design.

The community boasts a playground, tennis court and has views of the Strip, mountains and Rio Secco Golf Course.
