D.R. Horton-Las Vegas has partnered up with Communities In Schools of Nevada to host a charity event today.
The I Heart Rummage Sale will be held at the homebuilders' Las Vegas corporate offices at 330 Carousel Parkway in Henderson from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"We have been taking donations of gently used items for over 30 days and today is the big day. We are hoping that this will become an annual event and that folks will continue to pitch in and help out in their community. This is a great cause and we are proud to be a part of it," says Cynthia Cohen, coordinator of the event.
The sale offers items from $1 to $100 and all the proceeds go to benefit Communities In Schools of Nevada.
Communities In Schools of Nevada is the local affiliate of the nation's leading dropout prevention organization.
