Harmony opens Silhouette homes in southwest valley

As demand for new homes in Southern Nevada continues to grow, locally owned Harmony Homes is busy building communities to meet the needs of a wide range of buyers.

Harmony Homes executives say their new Silhouette community in the southwest part of Las Vegas is a great example of how they’re doing that. At Silhouette, buyers can choose from nine floor plans.

“Silhouette is really special because we’re able to offer so many options, and there’s a floor plan for everyone, from the first-time buyer who doesn’t need a lot of bedrooms to the large family that needs plenty of space to grow,” said Harmony Homes President Robert Beville. “So far Silhouette has been incredibly popular with buyers, and we believe the great variety of floor plans we’re offering has a lot to do with that success.”

Located near the intersection of Fort Apache Road and Blue Diamond Road, Silhouette offers six models and nine available two-story floor plans ranging from 1,706 to 2,939 square feet, with prices starting in the low $200,000s.

Silhouette is near the new Wet ‘n’ Wild Las Vegas water park, and a short drive from Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Spring Mountain Ranch State Park and Bonnie Springs.

The community is also close to a variety of schools, churches, parks, shopping centers and restaurants, as well as Rhodes Ranch Golf Club.

“We know the new-home market is tight due to high demand, and we’re proud that unlike some new-home communities, we don’t use a lottery system, so buyers can visit our models knowing that when they find the home of their dreams, they can make their purchase and they’ll be moving into their new home a short time later,” Beville said.

Features at Silhouette include sleek granite countertops, paver driveways, and open floor plans. All of the floor plans offer second-floor loft spaces, and many offer upstairs laundry rooms. Other features include dual master bedroom closets in some of the floor plans, and an option for as many as six bedrooms in the 2,799-square-foot plan.

Homes have kitchen islands and are part of the builder’s five-star energy certification.

“One of my favorite things about the homes we’re offering at Silhouette is that they are so well-designed for the way people want to live, and the smart design that we’re known for really helps to maximize every square foot of our homes,” Beville said. “People fall in love when they tour our models, and savvy buyers know it’s important to visit the community today and find their dream home before Silhouette sells out.”

Harmony Homes was included in the 2012 Builder magazine’s list of 100, recognizing the nation’s best-selling home builders.

Beville said the company has sold more than 1,300 homes since it was formed in Southern Nevada in late 2008.

It offers 12 neighborhoods throughout Southern Nevada, with one- and two-story homes priced from the $150,000s and ranging from 1,436 to 4,900 square feet. It is also offering four new communities in Texas and two in Southern California.

Sales offices are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on Monday, when they open at noon. For more information about Silhouette, call 702-201-1955, or visit www.harmonyhomes.com.
