Lennar to provide information on programs

Today and Sunday, Lennar will have experts onsite at its Boulder Ranch community in east Las Vegas to provide some information on two programs available to potential homebuyers.

The Home At Last Access Program is available at Boulder Ranch, and buyers may be able to qualify for zero money down. Home at Last Access is offered through Nevada Rural Housing Authority. It is available to qualifying homebuyers who will use the home as their primary residence.

In addition, the Nevada Rural Housing Authority Home at Last Mortgage Credit Certificate program offers qualified first-time buyers a federal income tax credit equal to 40 percent of the interest paid on their mortgage loan. It provides a refund up to $2,000 on mortgage interest every year the buyer lives in the home for the life of the loan, and the homeowner can still claim the remaining interest as a tax deduction.

Plus, Homebuyer Solution Group experts will also answer any credit issue questions.

Universal American Mortgage Co. LLC has launched its Home Buyer Solution Group, which provides financial options for homebuyers.

“These assistance programs are great because they open up homebuying to more Las Vegas families who wish to have a home of their own,” said Joy Broddle, Lennar Las Vegas director of sales. “Plus, we have many homes available for immediate move-in so these opportunities will help prospective homebuyers move into a new Lennar home sooner than expected.”

All of these Lennar homes come with features such as gourmet kitchens with General Electric appliances, granite countertops and upgraded maple cabinetry throughout the home. Plus, each home offers Nexia Home Intelligence that allows homeowners to control their home from any smartphone or Internet device.

These Everything’s Included homes also offer modern green technology that helps save homeowners significant amounts of money, Broddle said.

Lennar homes offer radiant-barrier roof sheathing, low-energy dual pane vinyl windows, dual-flush toilets, low VOC paint and Energy Star-certified homes.

Located near U.S. Highway 95 and Russell Road with access to Nellis Air Force Base, Lennar’s new Boulder Ranch gated community presents eight floor plan styles ranging from 1,465 to 2,516 square feet of living space with two-car garages.

One plan offers a single-story home that is 1,532 square feet and offers a private suite with a kitchenette that is included in the price of the home.

The largest plan offers five bedrooms, four baths and a bedroom downstairs. This gated community offers amenities such as a private park with barbecue areas, plus walking trails.

“This is the ideal time for serious buyers who have been waiting to find their perfect home and needing some financial assistance,” Broddle said. “We are providing families with programs that have been specifically designed for the families of Las Vegas. We are urging buyers to take advantage now while these programs and funds are still available.”
