Monterey at the Las Vegas Country Club, a collection of condominium residences in the historical golf course community, offers furnished units. "The program is a big hit among buyers," regional sales manager Marianne Pepe said. "Most people love designer furnishings, but they don't know where to start the interior decorating process. Home buyers are tickled to think they'll have home décor that stepped out of the pages of a high-end magazine, at no additional cost. Knowing they can simply move in and start enjoying the good life at Monterey provides peace of mind and makes for a pleasant move."
The condominium homes featured in the design program are appointed with custom furniture pieces, coordinating artwork and designer accents throughout. The furnishings are the product of California-based Parker Rose Design, a full service interior design and consulting firm specializing in home staging and home merchandising. Of the initial homes decorated by Danielle Hawthorne of Parker Rose Design, only three residences remain, according to Pepe.
Hawthorne brought in the airy greens and natural wood tones of the community's lush Country Club surroundings.
"Because many of the homes are located along the golf course, I wanted to bring some of that in," Hawthorne said. "I also wanted the designs to be very warm and inviting."
According to Pepe, everything from bedroom comforters to painted accent walls and perfectly placed decorative touches are included in the furnished residences under this program.
"The furnishings are timeless and eclectic, perfectly suited to the unique architectural elements found in our community," Pepe said. "Buyers gather their clothes, pack their toothbrushes and move right in. It couldn't be easier."
Monterey's floor plans offer architectural highlights that may include a private patio or balcony, formal entry, walk-in closet, multiple secondary storage spaces or built-in bookshelves. Every home at Monterey features slab granite countertops and upgraded cabinetry throughout. Other interior highlights include oversized baseboards, high-grade flooring, deep-well stainless steel sinks, ceiling fans and custom window treatments. Condominiums include an upgraded appliance package with a full-size washer and dryer.
Our design promotion appeals to buyers in every stage of life, according to Pepe. "It's only natural for people who purchase a new home to want new furnishings," she said. "This is an incredible opportunity for young professionals who don't yet own any furnishings. More mature buyers love the program because they're ready to replace what they have. And, vacation-home buyers don't want the headaches of furnishing a home long distance, or taking time out to shop while they're here trying to enjoy our fabulous location during vacation time. We can't wait for everyone to see these beautifully decorated homes."
Prices start in the $190,000s. Home buyers may also opt for a $10,000 flexible incentive on select condominiums not included in the furniture package incentive program, Pepe said. Community highlights include a hydro-massage spa and five swimming pools, some secluded, others with views of the golf course and nearby Strip properties.
Other amenities include a fitness center and picnic areas with gas barbecues. Residents can access private streets encircling the golf course for fitness and recreation. The community has 24-hour gated access with a uniformed patrol.
To visit, take Interstate 15 and exit Sahara Avenue east, turn right on Paradise Road and left on Karen Avenue.
