Newlyweds are new neighbors

Good things are said to come in threes based on the Latin phrase "omne trium perfectum," which means that everything that comes in threes is perfect.

In this case, perfect comes in three newlywed couples - Joey and Ivana Beeman, Andrew and Devon Evanski and Trevor and Debbie Clausen.

They are all new neighbors in Pardee Homes' LivingSmart Homes Mountain's Edge in the southwestern valley.

The three couples have a lot more in common than a street address and newly married status. All shared a common interest in living in Mountain's Edge, and all were guided in the buying process by Pardee Homes sales agent Judy Green.

"We were searching for a new home and found LivingSmart Homes Mountain's Edge, which fit our needs and price range," Ivana Beeman said. "Then Judy worked with us to show us how we could make owning a home a reality for us right now.

"In fact, the entire home-buying process from start to finish was simple, especially when compared to our wedding."

Joey and Ivana Beeman were the first to move into their new home. The Plan Two, which measures 2,250 square feet, has four bedrooms, three baths, loft and a two-car garage.

Ivana Beeman is a high school chemistry teacher and Joey Beeman manages a company that specializes in the inspection, cleaning and repair of uniforms and specialized attire for emergency responders. They were introduced through friends and were married June 29.

Next to move in were Andrew and Devon Evanski, who purchased a Plan One with an optional loft. The home measures 2,161 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, loft and a two-car garage.

Devon Evanski is a certified public account at a firm and Andrew Evanski is an educational supervisor for a nonprofit organization and is finishing his master's degree at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. They also were introduced through friends and were married Oct. 29, 2011.

Trevor and Debbie Clausen selected a Plan One without the optional loft and moved in late last month. The home measures 1,852 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths and a two-car garage.

Both work as gym technicians for a local physical therapy office. They met at work and were married Oct. 22, 2011.

"LivingSmart Homes' Mountain's Edge is a great choice for first-time homebuyers," said Pardee Homes regional sales director Rob Tuvell. "With the LivingSmart brand, buyers know that their homes have been designed and built for maximum efficiency, which can translate to lower utility bills and added peace of mind regardless of whether you're just starting out or buying your third new home."

The builder's LivingSmart brand is a program with standard and optional measures that boost energy efficiency, save water, improve indoor air quality and encourage material conservation and the use of recycled or sustainable resources in new homes, Tuvell said.

LivingSmart Homes Mountain's Edge is a collection of four floor plans that range from 1,852 to 2,432 square feet. It is off Buffalo Drive and Cactus Avenue in Mountain's Edge. Prices start from $189,990.

The company's pledge to build greener began with the pioneering of EnergyStar homes in Southern Nevada in 1998. Today, that commitment has grown to become Pardee's more comprehensive and award-winning LivingSmart program.

LivingSmart has more than 30 Earth-friendly standard and optional systems and features for buyers.

Sales office hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday. For more information, visit www.pardeehomes.com or contact an online sales counselor at 604-3332.
