Northern Terrace opens

Ryland Homes is putting the sparkle in this holiday season with a brand-new neighborhood that recently opened in the exclusive Northern Terrace enclave of Providence.

The location is elevated above the city and offers the builder’s signature rooftop decks.

“We are offering our most popular two-story home designs in this beautiful and exclusive community within the Providence master plan,” said Kelli Cunningham, sales and marketing manager for Ryland Homes’ Southern Nevada division.

Providence has been named one of the Top 10 master-planed communities in America, with tree-lined streets, parks and engaging play areas.

Its Northern Terrace is a gated collection of homes that will have unlimited access to The Club at Northern Terrace, a multimillion-dollar recreational facility.

“The club includes three swimming pools, a spa, a fully-equipped fitness center, entertainment great room, indoor and outdoor play areas and barbecue areas,” Cunningham said. “These amenities are near Providence’s 15-acre Knickerbocker Park and under-construction Huckleberry Park. We expect it to be one of our most popular neighborhoods this winter.”

Nestled near the mountain ranges at Providence’s north end, Northern Terrace Brookline will give residents options for sweeping views of the city lights and surrounding mountain ranges.

“Every home can be built with one of our signature rooftop decks, so you can have a truly unique vantage point to enjoy our beautiful Southern Nevada views,” she said.

Cunningham knows from experience the value a Ryland rooftop deck can bring to a home. She spends nearly every evening on her own Ryland rooftop deck with her family. “We have a book station just before the entrance to the deck, and just about every night my sons and I sit out under the stars and have story time,” she said. “It is a perfect ending to the day and a place where we can spend quiet time together enjoying the sparkling city lights and breathtaking mountain views.”

Five two-story plans at Northern Terrace Brookline all include options for one of Ryland’s signature rooftop decks. The homes range from 2,203 to 2,752 square feet with as many as five bedrooms, as many as to four baths and two-car garages.

“They are our most popular home designs with unique features per plan like first-floor master bedrooms, junior master bedrooms, walk-in closets in every bedroom and options like wet bars and Wi-Fi stations,” Cunningham said. “Combined with their location in one of the most desirable collections in northwest Las Vegas, this neighborhood is expected to sell out very quickly.”

Northern Terrace is part of the Americana-themed Providence master plan, which includes its own parks, schools and recreation areas.

In addition to the Northern Terrace amenities, residents will live near the 15-acre Knickerbocker Park and many scenic walking trails throughout the community.

Knickerbocker Park includes age-specific play areas for 2- to 5-year-olds and 5- to 12-year-olds, a swing set, a dog park with small and large dog areas, a splash pad, a youth baseball field, a multi-use events field, a jogging path with exercise stations and picnic areas.

“Bozarth Elementary School has already opened in Providence and is just across the street from Northern Terrace,” said Cunningham. “Right next to the school is Huckleberry Park, which is under construction and expected to open this winter. It is the third park in Providence and will include large and small dog parks, a multi-use events field, full court basketball, an outdoor stage area, swings, a picnic area, shade ramada and spaces designated for future amenities.”

Residents of Northern Terrace Brookline will live near popular shopping destinations including Montecito Town Center and Centennial Centre. “These areas offer hundreds of options for dining, shopping and services,” Cunningham said. “And both Tule Springs and Mt. Charleston are just a few minutes’ drive away to enjoy our beautiful outdoor recreation areas.”
