Pacific Southwest hosts Bloomingdale’s event

Pacific Southwest Development hosted a Bloomingdale's event at the grand opening of its Tuscan Cliffs neighborhood last weekend.

The department store showcased its housewares within the home builder's models. Hundreds of visitors turned out for the event, according to sales agent Mike Goeth.

"Inviting Bloomingdale's made perfect sense. They offer the finishing touches that buyers such as ours seek once they find their ideal home. We are very pleased to have a marquee name such as theirs associated with ours," Goeth said.

Each residence hosted its own reception with live music, hors d'oeuvres and several rooms decorated with designer goods from Bloomingdale's.

Gail Findley, director of interior design for Bloomingdale's local store, said the company provides interior design services as well as personal shopping.

"They have a clientele very similar to ours," Findley said. "Often they are professional people whose time is limited, so they need someone they can trust. Our services can help residents fulfill their shopping lists without taking up a lot of their time. In that sense, we are very similar in service to Tuscan Cliffs."

Tuscan Cliffs' four semi-custom floor plans offer 50 distinct home configurations, including many with one- and two-story casitas, summer kitchens, offices and expansive bonus rooms. Custom options include special electronics, pool and landscape packages, kitchen appliances, bath upgrades and decorator touches.

Floor plans range from 4,328 to 5,441 square feet. Various design options can bring the homes to 6,000 square feet.

The gated neighborhood will have 155 luxury homes with home sites measuring at least one-quarter acre. Premium lots, including some measuring half an acre, will be built into the hillsides.

Base prices range from $1.05 million to $1.25 million.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to the St. Rose Parkway exit and go west. Drive north on Southern Highlands Parkway and proceed to Stonewater Lane, then turn left and follow the signs. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday when it opens at 1 p.m. For more information, call 228-8559.
