Rhodes Ranch ready for the holiday season

This holiday season, Dunhill Homes' Rhodes Ranch, a master-planned community in the southwestern valley, is rolling out the red carpet for its residents. The community's centerpiece, a 35,000-square foot recreation center with indoor and outdoor activities, offers dozens of holiday activities for residents and their families.

"There is no better place to spend the holiday season than Rhodes Ranch," sales agent Hadley Goddard said. "Whether joining the fun at the holiday bazaar or participating in the Giving Tree, there are many ways to celebrate."

Rhodes Ranch celebrated the lighting of its Giving Tree this week with opportunities for residents to provide gifts for underprivileged children and its annual holiday bazaar.

"And through the end of this month, new-home buyers can get up to $20,000 in upgrades and incentives," Goddard said. "That is a great value on these award-winning homes that are already well priced from just $184,990."

Dunhill Homes is offering special added incentives on four ready-to-move-in homes at Rhodes Ranch.

"We have four of our most popular homes; a 1,532 and a 2,229 (square foot), two-story and a 1,838 and a 2,173 (square foot) single-story, which are all ready to enjoy by this holiday season."

Inside Dunhill Homes' recreation center at Rhodes Ranch are dozens of options for fitness and socializing. Residents have access to a workout facility with weights and cardiovascular equipment, a full-length indoor basketball and two racquetball/handball courts. They also can enjoy the center's social area with plush seating, a television and fireplace, a library with books donated by residents, pool tables, card games and meeting rooms.

Dunhill Homes is well-known for its luxury amenities. In addition to the recreation center and award-winning Rhodes Ranch golf course, the community includes a 24-hour guard-gated entrance and no LID or SID (improvement district) fees to homeowners.

"By paying for the master plan improvements, Dunhill Homes allows residents to save thousands over the life span of the home," Goddard said.

Dunhill Homes' year-end special sale ends Dec. 31.

Dunhill Homes' 12 new floor plans at Rhodes Ranch are available with prices starting at $184,990. The single- and two-story designs are available in sizes ranging from 1,532 to 3,649 square feet.

Every home at Rhodes Ranch includes standard features, such as cooking islands, granite countertops, beech wood cabinetry, Whirlpool appliances and Moen chrome faucets are all included in the price of the home.

Most also include Dunhill Homes' oversized garages and signature valet, a place residents can sit and take off their shoes, store mail, hang keys, hang coats and store items they need when they arrive or depart their homes.

All of the homes at Rhodes Ranch are certified by Energy Star and NV Energy's Energy Plus program. These certifications require specific efficiency measures, such as energy efficient insulation, radiant barrier roof sheathing, water-saving plumbing fixtures, energy-efficient gas water heater and furnace, a digital programmable thermostat, and dual pane low-e argon gas vinyl windows. Once the home is completed, it is tested, rated and certified by a third-party for its HERS (Home Efficiency Rating System) score to ensure that the upgrades meet the certification criteria.
