Ryland to sell out two communities

Ryland Homes' Bradford and Windimere collections in Providence, a northwestern valley master-planned community, are nearly sold out, and dozens of new home sites have been added in its Kensington collection. Prices start at $72 per square foot.

"We have less than 10 available in Bradford," said sales agent Kelli Cunningham. "Great deals are still available, like one of our Coral plans that will be ready in February. This home is a steal at just $77 per square foot."

The Coral plan is a two-story home with four bedrooms, three baths, a covered patio and a two-car garage.

Prices for the remaining homes available start at $172,990.

Bradford is near the brand-new Knickerbocker Park in Providence. This 15-acre park includes age-specific play areas for 2- to 5-year-olds and 5- to 12-year-olds, swing set, dog park with small and large dog areas, splash pad, youth baseball field, multiuse events field, jogging path with exercise stations and picnic areas.

James Malinik, a new Ryland resident in Providence, said he plans to take full advantage of the master plan's amenities and trails.

"I chose to buy here because I like the neighborhood. … It is new and quiet," he said.

Malinik recently moved into Ryland's Pearl floor plan in its Auburn collection, where he added an optional third-floor loft for his computer, video gaming system and workout equipment.

"The third-story loft really got me with this home," he said. "I also really like the kitchen with the giant granite slab on the kitchen island. It is just a well-built home with lots of windows and twice the square footage I had in my first home."

Malinik purchased his first home in 2005 and said his second home buying experience was much easier.

"I didn't feel rushed into anything. They let me take my time and there was no pressure," he said.

Ryland's Windimere collection in Providence is also nearly sold out. Just a handful of homes are available. The collection includes a Cambridge plan available for quick move-in. The Cambridge is a 2,131-square-foot, two-story home with three bedrooms, 2½ baths and a two-car garage.

"We have four stylish floor plans ranging from 1,608 to 2,365 square feet available to build on our last remaining home sites," said sales agent Tracy Carter. "These open two-story plans include modern design elements like spacious walk-in closets, dens, lofts and upstairs laundry rooms."

For homebuyers who want more options at Providence, Ryland offers its Kensington collection. This gated neighborhood recently released 40 new home sites, most of which are oversized. Five single- and two-story plan are available in the neighborhood, which has a direct access gate into Providence's Promenade Park.

"A variety of plans in Kensington range in size from 2,100 to 3,230 square feet with unique features like dual master bedrooms and three-car garages," said sales agent Rhonda Polk. "The Garamond is one of our most flexible plans and can be built up to 2,800 square feet with as many as six bedrooms, 2½ to 3½ baths and a three-car garage. And all homes in the Kensington collection include standard paver driveways and walkways, giving the neighborhood a unique classic look."

Ryland Homes offers four collections with dozens of floor plans in Providence. Auburn, Bradford, Windimere and Kensington are gated neighborhoods with their own green areas for families, sports and pets. The neighborhoods also include their own barbecue areas with benches for residents to use.

Ryland Homes sales offices are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Friday, when they open at noon.

To visit Ryland's Providence collections, take U.S. Highway 95 west to the Las Vegas Beltway. Turn right on Hualapai Way, left on Dorrell Lane and follow the signs to the individual neighborhoods.
