The first new homes at Lennar's Silver Creek, in the northwestern valley, are in their final completion stage and the neighborhood will begin welcoming its first homeowners at the end of the month.
This new Lennar enclave is a gated community limited to 20 luxury residences on home sites from one-third to one-half acre.
"The time to visit Silver Creek is now," according to Vicki Zoot, director of marketing. "And the window of opportunity is right now to select your residence. In addition to the homes slated to close at the end of the month, all of the homes (except the site of the sales office) are currently under construction with properties available for 30-, 60- and 90-day move-ins."
Ranging from 4,401 to 5,000 square feet, each home is matched to a specific home site, according to Zoot, to create harmony between the site and the home's dimensions and character.
The first five of new two-story floor plans are available.
Residences at Silver Creek are the Palisades, Thousand Oaks, Coronado, Turtle Bay and Morro Bay. The homes feature four to five bedrooms, three to 4 1/2 baths and three- to four-car garages.
According to Zoot, the interiors reflect Lennar's ''Everything you want. Everything you need" slogan, with luxury-level amenities and upgraded appliances including refrigerator, cabinetry, granite flooring and washer and dryer. These standard amenities are custom-coordinated for a professionally finished look and at no additional cost, according to Zoot.
Interior design elements include formal and informal living spaces, formal dining rooms and media rooms. Kitchens are equipped with maple cabinetry and crown molding, upgraded appliances and breakfast nooks accented with bay windows. Master suites offer expanded baths, walk-in closets and retreats.
The Morro Bay residence measures 4,486 square feet with five bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths. The main floor opens to a formal living room with 19-foot ceilings and a formal dining room accented by a decorative archway with columns. An owner's study is located off the formal foyer, while a curving staircase rises to the second floor.
The kitchen bisects the living areas and opens into an open family room. The kitchen is designed with a curved island with counter seating, walk-in pantry and cabinets. An informal dining nook is accented by bay windows, while a French door opens directly onto a covered patio for outdoor dining and entertaining. The main floor also includes a guest powder room, bedroom and full bath, and a laundry room that opens to the three-car garage. The second floor features an expanded master suite.
The suite includes the master bedroom and retreat with media niche and outdoor veranda. The adjoining master bath offers dual counters and sinks, a vanity, separate shower and garden tub and walk-in wardrobe. A second den/study is also featured, which can be used as a home office or computer center.
The Turtle Bay offers 5,000 square feet with five bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. In addition to the library/retreat, the home's second floor also features a media room and four more bedrooms.
"I could go on and on trying to describe these lavish luxury homes," Zoot said, "but that would not begin to prepare our visitors for the delights in store when they see this setting and these incredible designs."
