Sports bettors can win house

This weekend, Century Communities celebrates its “Kickoff Home Sales Event” at Rhodes Ranch and Westmont in southwest Las Vegas, along with Tuscany Village in Henderson. During the event, new homebuyers can receive as much as $20,000 in incentives and upgrades on select homes that close by Oct. 31.

“We are kicking off the start of the football season in style,” said Ryan Soucie, director of sales for Century Communities’ Southern Nevada division. “You can pick your play with dozens of floor plans to choose from in three outstanding communities.”

This month also marks the start of Station Casinos’ annual Great Giveaway in which sports bettors have an opportunity to win $2 million in cash and prizes, including two brand-new Century Communities homes.

“This is the fourth year we have given away two brand-new homes with Station Casinos,” said Soucie. “This year, we are giving homebuyers up to 20,000 reasons of their own to keep up with their favorite teams in the comfort of their new Century Communities home.”

Century Communities’ sales event is being offered at all three of its Southern Nevada communities. Combined, they have 33 distinct single-family floor plans in single and two-story designs.

Prices start in the low $200,000s.

“Both Rhodes Ranch in southwest Las Vegas and Tuscany Village in Henderson are master planned communities, so they have dozens of amenities that allow you to socialize, exercise, swim and play from the comfort of your own neighborhood,” Soucie said. “Our multimillion dollar recreation centers include expansive workout facilities, gyms, racquetball courts, spacious pools, tennis courts and many other fitness options. And for those who really love the water, our Fun Zone Water Park at Rhodes Ranch is unlike any other in the city and available exclusively to residents.”

Luxury takes a step forward at Rhodes Ranch and Tuscany Village with opulent guard-gated entrances, miles of landscaped walking trails, award-winning golf courses and multimillion dollar recreation centers with dozens of fitness options.

“The builder has also paid all applicable SID (special improvement district) fees at both communities, which accounts for thousands in savings over the lifespan of the home,” Soucie said.

He said homeowners who do not wish to live in a master plan, Century’s Westmont neighborhood is in an ideal location near Arby Avenue and El Capitan Way next to Red Ridge Park.

This 26-acre park includes two Little League baseball fields, picnic pavilions, a water park, two separate enclosed playgrounds, two swing sets and a Frisbee golf course. The park also includes a lighted basketball court and is surrounded by a mile of walking trails.

“The neighborhood is also within walking distance to the highly rated Tanaka Elementary School and Faiss Middle School,” said sales agent Gail van Duersen. “And with shopping and services just a block and a half away, you can actually walk to dinner, the grocery store or even to go shopping.”

Westmont is also nearby St. Rose San Martin and Southern Hills hospitals and Wet ‘n’ Wild Las Vegas. Now open for the summer season, Wet ‘n’ Wild Las Vegas includes 25 slides and attractions covering more than 20 acres.

“Every Century Communities home in Southern Nevada is built with standard features normally offered as upgrades in new home developments,” Soucie said.

Every home at Rhodes Ranch, Tuscany Village and Westmont is built with paver driveways and walkways, Gourmet cooking islands, granite kitchen countetops, maple kitchen cabinetry, Whirlpool appliances and Moen chrome faucets.

All homes are also Energy Star certified and include standard features such as energy-efficient insulation, low-e vinyl dual pane argon gas windows, water-saving plumbing fixtures, energy efficient gas water heater and furnace and a digital programmable thermostat.
