Summerlin prepares for expansion

Development activity is well under way in The Paseos village of Summerlin as The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin, prepares for significant growth. Five new-home neighborhoods are scheduled to open this year along with an extension of the village's trail system. It will span the width of the village connecting neighborhoods and amenities in a private, landscaped arroyo.

Additional infrastructure work, including utility and road construction, is in progress in the village's northern region to accommodate future expansion.
