The master-planned community of Summerlin boasts a broad variety of new homes, particularly with new neighborhoods emerging in the community’s far western and southern villages.
But as new homes continue to populate the 22,500-acre plan, other Summerlin neighborhoods are nearing sellout, including Amado, a neighborhood in which homes are being built by several homebuilders. Amado is in The Mesa village, one of Summerlin’s fastest-growing, areas.
The Summit at Amado by KB Home has a dozen new homes with three floor plans designed exclusively for Summerlin. Ranging from 1,852 to 2,256 square feet, these two-story homes offer three to five bedrooms and 2½ or three bathrooms.
These homes, priced from $269,990 to $305,790, offer architectural design elements including 9-foot ceilings on the first floor, granite countertops, lofts, luxury master baths featuring large, walk-in showers and separate soaking tubs, master suite walk-in closets, second-floor laundry rooms, soft-water loops and covered patios and porches.
The Summit at Amado homes also come standard with green, energy-saving construction like TechShield radiant roof barrier, dual glazed low-e windows and sliding doors and 14 Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio heating and air conditioning rated appliances.
These homes also include Taexx built-in pest control systems for complete home comfort.
“Homes in The Amado neighborhood offer a variety of floor plans and amenities thanks to this unique neighborhood design,” Summerlin marketing director Danielle Bisterfeldt said. “With a handful of builders creating this one neighborhood, it’s no surprise only a few homes remain in this development.”
The two remaining homes at Cresta del Sol by Woodside Homes offer the same floor plan, with one quick-move-in home available and one corner lot with a view of the Strip. The 2,236-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bath floor plan includes a loft, gourmet kitchen, large master bedroom suite and covered patio. Prices start at $341,990.
Amado Crest by Richmond American Homes has only two new homes remaining, including one model home.
At 3,000 square feet with five bedrooms and four bathrooms, the two homes both offer unique features and upgrades.
The model home, priced at $475,950, includes a paver driveway and complete landscaping, grand front porch, vaulted ceilings and formal living and dining rooms.
The second home, priced at $449,950 includes a gourmet kitchen with maple cabinets and granite countertops, as well as upgraded carpet, tile flooring, stair rails and bath faucets.
The two remaining Amado Terraza homes by Pulte Homes also include one model home.
The Evergreen two-story floor plan offers 2,575 square-feet with four bedrooms and 3½ baths. The model home sits directly across from the neighborhood’s Amado park, which includes a children’s play area and private neighborhood pool.
The second home is tucked in a cozy cul-de-sac. Both move-in-ready homes include a variety of upgrades.
