Tuscany Village offers resort living

Valentine's Day is on its way, and Dunhill Homes is making things even sweeter with its single-story homes and luxury amenities at its Tuscany Village, a master-planned community in Henderson. The builder has seven single-story plans measuring 1,215 to 2,683 square feet. Prices start in the $140,000s.

"The savings are huge with Dunhill Homes this month," said Ryan Soucie, Dunhill Home's director of sales. "You will love what you see from the moment you pass through the opulent guard-gated entrance to a community reminiscent of the hillsides of Tuscany. From the rolling hills and beautiful golf course to the wide, open spaces and views for miles, Tuscany Village is in a class of its own."

Among the popular and flexible single-story plans is Roma 2683. The 2,683-square-foot home includes three bedrooms, three baths, a great room, kitchen island and a split three-car garage. It has options for a fourth bedroom, a den and two covered patios.

"This is one of our most popular plans and is now priced at just $249,990," Soucie said. "And we are offering up to $10,000 in incentives for a limited time."

Among the values offered are luxury amenities that often seen at destination vacation resorts. The popular Tuscany Golf Course is a par-72, 6,906-yard course set within the rolling hills and mountainsides of the area.

"Our award-winning golf course winds around Tuscany Village and is a beautiful addition to the scenery," Soucie said. "It offers resort-style golf at very reasonable pricing."

Another centerpiece of Tuscany Village is its 35,000-square-foot recreation center, La Vita Tuscana. The recreation center offers residents dozens of indoor and outdoor activities including a beach volleyball court, tennis courts, two basketball courts, resort and lap pools and two spas.

Inside La Vita Tuscana residents have access to two racquetball courts, indoor gym with a basketball court, sauna, workout aerobics, billiards, meeting and arts and crafts rooms.

In addition residents receive 50 free channels of cable television.

"All of this is included, with no LIDs or SIDs (improvement district fees)," Soucie said.

Energy efficiency is a priority in all homes at Tuscany Village, with 13 plans certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star. Tankless water heaters, radiant-barrier roofs, dual-pane, low-emissivity, argon-gas, vinyl windows and other energy-efficient elements are included in the price of the homes.

"These standard features are normally offered as an upgrade or not available at all in other communities," Soucie said.

Both single- and two-story homes are available at Tuscany Village. They range from 1,215 to 2,683 square feet. The homes offer a variety of configurations and options. Prices start at $129,990.

To visit Tuscany Village, take Lake Mead Drive in Henderson heading east. Follow the signs to the community and turn left on Mohawk Drive to the main entrance.

Tuscany's sales office is at 1549 Olivia Parkway, and is open daily from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information, call 873-7287 or visit dunhillhomes.com.
