The Regulation of Marijuana Initiative
QUESTION: Statutory Initiative Question 7 on the November ballot is The Regulation of Marijuana Initiative. It would legalize the possession of up to one ounce of marijuana for adults 21 and over. It taxes the sale of marijuana and permits it to be sold only by state-licensed wholesalers and retailers. It also increases the penalties for selling marijuana to minors and for driving under the influence of marijuana. If you were voting on this initiative today, would you vote for it or against it?
