■ HIGHLIGHTS: At Colorado Springs, Colo., the 51s (78-58) followed up a close 2-1 extra-inning victory with a wild 10-9 win in the nightcap to sweep the doubleheader. … Kirk Nieuwenhuis doubled with two outs in the top of the 10th inning of the first game, then scored the game-winning run when Ruben Tejada reached base on an error. … Colorado Springs (64-71) rallied from deficits of 6-2 and 8-5 to tie the second game at 9 in the bottom of the fifth inning, but Nieuwenhuis drove in Eric Campbell with the game-winner on a groundout in the sixth. … Las Vegas holds a 3½-game lead in the Pacific Southern Division. … No 51s were selected to the All-PCL team announced Monday.
