■ HIGHLIGHTS: At Cashman Field, Rafael Montero fired seven shutout innings, and Ruben Tejada, Travis d’Arnaud and Lucas Duda each drove in a run for the 51s, who won their third straight game and went 6-2 on their homestand. … Las Vegas (68-56) is tied with Sacramento (69-57) in the Pacific South Division with 20 games left in the season. … Chris Valaika hit a two-run homer in the eighth for New Orleans (61-65). … Montero scattered four hits and had eight strikeouts and no walks to win his third straight start.
