WINNING/LOSING PITCHER: 51s, Jacob deGrom (2-1); Bees, Jarrett Grube (3-3)

HIGHLIGHTS: At Salt Lake City, the 51s (47-43) took the lead for good two batters into the game and squared the three-game series at one apiece.

Ruben Tejada led off with a single and scored on Mike Baxter’s third triple of the year. Zach Lutz then doubled home Baxter.

The Bees (50-43) had two errors in the sixth inning that helped Las Vegas build a 5-2 lead, with two runs scoring when Juan Centeno’s two-out fly to right was misplayed.

Salt Lake scored single runs in the seventh and eighth to get within 5-4 but left two runners on base in the eighth before Wilmer Flores hit an RBI double and Rylan Sandoval a two-run single in the ninth for the 51s.

Las Vegas starter Jacob deGrom allowed two runs on eight hits and one walk and struck out four in six innings.
