Brian Bixler was 2-for-3 for Las Vegas (31-27), which had seven hits in the opener of a home-and-home eight-game series against the Rainiers, the Seattle Mariners’ Triple-A affiliate. ... Kirk Nieuwenhuis doubled to lead off the game for the 51s and scored on Wilmer Flores’ groundout.
