Race 1 - 6 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

3 Christmas Candy - Taking a huge class drop to face an easier task; broke her maiden in only race in Inglewood.

4 Dilly’s Dancer - Chalk was claimed two races ago for $32K, now in for a third of that; Peter Miller barn wins with all kinds.

Long Shot - 5 Cherry On the Cake

Race 2 - 6 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, 3-year-olds and up

7 Fly High - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; Bob Baffert adding the blinkers on too.

3 Dark Timbers - Have to be impressed by the riding of young Irving Orozco; this horse ran a couple good races early on.

Long Shot - 2 Blazing Lute

Race 3 - 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $54,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

4 Foxy Boss - Ran a good second in last after a gutsy MSW win two races ago; tiny edge in a very competitive heat.

2 Toomanytomatoes - Tepid chalk was claimed by Cody Autrey two races ago; has won 4-of-8 starts on grass.

Long Shot - 3 Blingismything

Race 4 - 5 1/2 furlongs, $100,000 Cinderella, Fillies, 2-year-olds

1 Pleasant Miss - First start for the maestro Jerry Hollendorfer off a private purchase; just one direction for this filly to go.

2 On the Backstreets - Peter Miller has an uncoupled entry in here so caveat emptor; promising debut victory.

Long Shot - 4 Sensational Nikki

Race 5 - 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $32,000, Claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up

1 Mr. Bossy Pants - Claimed by Librado Barocio off a game win; key is if he can repeat the race, he’ll be right there.

2 Blue Jay Attack - Claimed by John Sadler who is leading trainer this meet; like that Rafael Bejarano remsins loyal.

Long Shot - 8 Free Time

Race 6 - 6 furlongs, Purse $54,000, Allowance, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

3 Follini - Has paired two sharp runs around a dismal try when overmatched in the Echo Eddie; can handle any kind of surface.

6 Spirit Rules - Chalk returns off a 16-month hiatus; should hold his price with Iggy Puglisi riding for Paul Aguirre.

Long Shot - 7 Night Badger

Race 7 - 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $52,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

11 Angel’s Moon - Tiny edge in the hardest race on the card; suspect will sit in arrears and come flying wide late.

4 Harper Rae - Was flattered in debut when Rip Roarin Ritchie won right back; been away a year, but showed good talent.

Long Shot - 10 Classic Candy

Race 8 - 5 1/2 furlongs, $100,000 Willard Proctor Memorial, 2-year-olds

2 Kobe’s Back - FTS from the John Sadler barn; they paid $480K for him in Ocala so for their sake I hope he can run.

3 One More - FTS from Doug O’Neill hopes to follow in the footsteps of I’ll Have Another and Goldencents in their debuts.

Long Shot - 4 Solid Wager

Race 9 - 1 1/8th miles, $250,000 Vanity Handicap, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

6 Lady of Fifty - Lost the race last time with an untimely poor start; still overcame a 10-length lapse to finish second.

1 More Chocolate - Dull try in the La Troienne facing a field much tougher than this; saves all the ground with inside trip.

Long Shot - 2 Byrama

Race 10 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

8 Secret Memo - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; last on turf was a clunker, better in here.

14 Rockin’ Hard Gals - Horses drawing in off the also eligible are sometimes overlooked; woke up in last with a good try.
