Local boxers advance at Golden Gloves national tournament

Nevada boxers Quontez McRath and Adrian Servin advanced to today’s fourth roundof the Golden Gloves National Tournament of Champions at the LVH.

Servin beat Jermiah Smotherman in the 108-pound weight class Wednesday night while McRath defeated Alexis Torres in a 152-pound bout.

Nevada boxer Alfonso Olvera lost at 141 pounds and local boxer Lorenzo Caldera dropped his 132-pound bout.

The tournament will continue at 6 p.m. today at the LVH.
