Tickets go on sale for Nevada boxing hall ceremony

Tickets, priced from $75 to $300, go on sale at noon Wednesday for the 2014 Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame induction dinner and ceremony, to be held Aug. 9 at the Tropicana’s Cohiba Ballroom.

Eighteen inductees in 10 categories, led by heavyweight boxers George Foreman and Evander Holyfield and former world champion Roberto Duran, are in the Class of 2014. The $300 and $175 tickets include dinner while the $75 tickets are for the ceremony only. Tables of 10 are also available for $3,000 and $1,750.
