Ex-UNLV receiver Jerry Rice signs with Redskins as undrafted free agent

ASHBURN, Va. — Former UNLV receiver Jerry Rice Jr., the son of the Hall of Fame receiver, signed as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Redskins on Thursday.

Rice, 5 feet 10 inches and 185 pounds, caught 11 passes for 86 yards and one touchdown last year in his only season with the Rebels. He played at UCLA before transferring to UNLV.

Rice had tryouts with the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers this offseason.
