Golden Knights recall goaltender Oscar Dansk from minors

The Golden Knights recalled goaltender Oscar Dansk from Chicago of the American Hockey League on Thursday and reassigned goaltender Maxime Lagace to their top minor league affiliate.

Dansk, 23, will serve as Malcolm Subban’s backup when the Knights (5-1) face St. Louis at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at T-Mobile Arena. The former second-round pick of Columbus has never appeared in an NHL game.

Dansk started one game for Chicago and made 30 saves in a 6-5 overtime loss against the Texas Stars on Oct. 7.

Lagace is 1-1 with a 4.05 goals-against average in two games for the Wolves. He had 34 stops in Chicago’s 5-2 win over Ontario on Oct. 14 and the move allows him to start when the Wolves host Tucson on Saturday.
