1 Indygo F M A - Envision a ground saving trip under Rafael Bejarano; ran well in last first time with blinkers on.

2 Legacy - Good try in last in initial turf effort; interesting rider switch to hot jockey Julien Leparoux.

Long Shot - 7 Ginger Tap

Race 2 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $75,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds

6 Cal Gal - No stopping the Doug O’Neill barn lately; all his horses are running, no matter what their resumes look like.

7 Meinertzhageni - Very good debut for second under returning jockey Chantal Sutherland-Kruse; done well with limited chances.

Long Shot - 2 Kantina Kowgirl

Race 3 - 1 mile, Purse $24,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

1 Hard Buns - Claimed by Vann Belvoir off a strong maiden claiming win; facing winners for the first time.

2 Chestnut Moon - Sliding down the claiming ladder to this career low class; Jim Cassidy having a cold Del Mar meet.

Long Shot - 10 Totally Blonde

Race 4 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $75,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds

2 Can the Man - FTS from the Bob Baffert barn; he’s been winning a lot of races with an unending stock of expensive babies.

8 Yes Yes Yes - FTS from Peter Eurton is talented enough to attract Mike Smith; watch the tote board for more clues.

Long Shot - 1 Test Ride

Race 5 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 7 feet), Purse $80,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 3-year-olds and up

5 Kid Edward - Jim Cassidy has another live horse on the card tonight; third start off a one year hiatus.

8 Rock Me Baby - Deserving chalk is 8-for-8 in the money this year; that earns a lot of cash to pay the bills in the barn.

Long Shot - 4 Big Bane Theory

Race 6 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $75,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds

5 My Secret Affair - Has been working bullets for Mark Glatt; that’s enough to attract the services of Rafael Bejarano.

4 New Year’s Day - Bob Baffert has one here that cost $425K; interesting that he gives Garrett Gomez a leg up.

Long Shot - 3 Little Shack

Race 7 - 6 furlongs, Purse $77,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

11 Germany Bay - Speedball draws a parking lot post; Julien Leparoux has been riding great here after two so-so meets.

4 Know More - Leap of faith that the Doug O’Neill magic will continue; colt has underachieved this year as a 3-YO.

Long Shot - 7 Marchman

Race 8 - 1 1/8th miles (turf, rail at 7 feet), $300,000 Del Mar Oaks, Fillies, 3-year-olds

2 Discreet Marq - This filly has a world of early speed; we’ve seen how well that plays on this turf course, rail is out 7 feet.

6 Kitten’s Dumpling - Another Kitten’s Joy that loves the turf; dead late closer is always at the mercy of the early pace.

Long Shot - 1 Wishing Gate

Race 9 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $75,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds

1 Say’s Who - Maiden ran well for third in stakes last out; gets class relief facing MSW foes in this one.

8 Heaven and Earth - FTS from the maestro Jerry Hollendorfer; bred to be quick and has been working fast enough.

Long Shot - 9 My Lucky Rose

8 Branding - Garrett Gomez has been riding like a man possessed since returning; he always does good work for trainer Tom Proctor.

2 Star Vesta - Could be a Jerry Hollendorfer late daily double; woke up with a monster win last time over much easier foes.
