Lady Rebels whip Aztecs for fourth straight victory

Danielle Miller, Mia Bell and Alana Cesarz combined for 56 points to lead the UNLV women’s basketball team to a 74-59 Mountain West victory over San Diego State on Saturday night at Cox Pavilion.

Miller had a game-high 20 points, Bell scored 19 and Cesarz 17 for the Lady Rebels, who won their fourth straight game to improve to 7-10 overall and 4-1 in the conference.

UNLV, which defeated the Aztecs (5-10, 2-3) for the first time since Feb. 13, 2010, shot 44.6 percent from the field (25 of 56) and hit 9 of 21 (42.9 percent) on 3-point attempts. Bell was 5 of 8 on 3-pointers and Miller 3 of 7.
