Las Vegas’ Khalil Rountree is focusing all of his energy on winning in the semifinals to make the most of his second chance in the TUF 23 tournament.
When Las Vegas’ Cory Hendricks was forced to withdraw from The Ultimate Fighter season 23 with a neck injury, his Syndicate MMA teammate Khalil Rountree replaced him.
Rountree lost to Hendricks in the first quarterfinal of this season competition. Now that he’s in the semifinals, Rountree knows that this could be his final opportunity to impress the UFC brass. Despite being friends with his next adversary, Josh Stansbury, Rountree said he had to shut off those feelings and emotions to be able to focus on the next phase of the tournament.
