4 p.m.: Dale Earnhardt Foundation Celebrity Poker Tournament, Stratosphere; Kenny Wallace, Kirk Shelmerdine, Casey Mears, Matt Crafton, Regan Smith, Aric Almirola, Eric McClure, Todd Bodine, Mike Bliss, Scott Lagasse Jr., Andy Ponstein, Danny Efland, Tommy Baldwin and others; admission $20;
5-10 p.m.: Speedway Children’s Charities Driver Auction at Sam’s Town Live!; driver, track ride and silent auctions; admission $20; visit for information;
6 p.m.: NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide teams hauler parade; 18-wheelers transporting NASCAR race cars will parade down Las Vegas Boulevard from Russell Avenue north to Sahara Avenue.
8- 9 a.m.: Track Walk; walk the 1.5-mile track to raise money for the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities; $25-35 per adult; visit for information and to register.


2-4 p.m.: Terry Cook and Kevin Conway; Raybestos Rookie drivers cooking competition; New York-New York ESPNZone;
4-6 p.m.: Tony Stewart, Office Depot (1435 W. Craig Road);
4-6 p.m.: Brad Keselowski, Discount Tire (6565 E. Lake Mead Blvd.);
    5:30 p.m.: Kasey Kahne; PT’s Tavern (Interstate 215 and Decatur Boulevard)
    6 p.m.: Kurt Busch, Pole Position Raceway (4175 S. Arville);
    6:30-8:30 p.m.: Kyle Busch, M&M’s World (Las Vegas Boulevard).

    6 p.m. – NASCAR Hauler Parade on Las Vegas Blvd. for Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series teams.
Friday, Feb. 26
    10 a.m. – Gates open
    11-11:50 a.m. – Sam’s Town 300 practice.
    Noon-1:30 p.m. – Shelby American practice.
    1:40-3 p.m. – Sam’s Town 300 final practice.
    3:40 p.m. – Shelby American qualifying (two laps, all positions).
    6 p.m. – Spectator gates open at Dirt Track (qualifying at 7 p.m., followed by heat races).
    7 p.m. Neon Garage closed.
Saturday, Feb. 27 – Neon Garage and ticket gates open at 8 a.m.
    9 a.m. – Sam’s Town 300 qualifying (all positions).
    10:40-11:20 a.m. – Shelby American practice.
    11:45 a.m.-12:50 p.m. – Shelby American final practice.
    1 p.m. – Sam’s Town 300 driver introductions.
    1:30 p.m. – NASCAR Nationwide Series Sam’s Town 300 (200 laps, 300 miles).
    7-9 p.m. – Neon Garage Sam’s Town 300 Post-race Party (open to the public).
Sunday, Feb. 28 – Neon Garage and ticket gates open at 7 a.m.
    8-9:30 a.m. – Speedway Children’s Charities Track Walk.
    9:30 a.m. – Pre-race entertainment begins.
    11:30 a.m. – Shelby American driver introductions
    Noon – NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Shelby American (267 laps, 400.5 miles).
    3:30 p.m. (approx.) – U.S. Legend Cars International racing events (Legends Cars, Bandoleros, Thunder Roadsters).
    4 p.m. (approx) – Neon Garage Shelby American Post-race Party (open to the public).
    7 p.m. – Neon Garage closed.
