Cheesy pre-fight hype video courtesy Romney, Holyfield

Mitt Romney and Evander Holyfield are gearing up for their charity boxing match on Friday … with a lovely new hype video.

The video, posted on YouTube by CharityVision, who is putting on the boxing match, is full of cheesy trash talk from both boxers.

Well, from the boxer and the politician.

Romney says in the video he’s ready to fight back at his critics.

“You may think that this is just a joke, but I’m taking this very seriously,” Romney says.

While Holyfield — a five-time world champion — stands firm that he’s got an easy match ahead.

“I’ve trained every day for people a lot tougher than Mitt Romney,” Holyfield says in the video. “Does he even work out? I’m too quick, too agile for him. Mitt, you can’t run, you can’t hide, come get your whooping.”

All cheesiness aside, the boxing match will raise money for CharityVision, an organization that performed almost 40,000 surgeries last year in some of the poorest countries around the world, according to the video.

We can’t wait to see how this turns out.
