Kris Bryant jersey among MLB’s best sellers

In less than three months in the majors, Las Vegan Kris Bryant has quickly become one of the game's most popular players.

According to ESPN.com, the Chicago Cubs third baseman had the second best-selling MLB jersey in the first half of the season, trailing only San Francisco Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner, the reigning World Series Most Valuable Player.

Also, since the 23-year-old Bryant made his debut this season, 15 autographed cards of him have sold for more than $5,000 each.

The Bonanza High School product is batting .257 with 12 home runs and 54 RBIs this season for the Cubs.

Three Giants players have their jerseys ranked in the top 10, with Buster Posey at No. 3 and Hunter Pence at No. 6.

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw is at No. 4 on the list and Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper, a Las Vegas High and College of Southern Nevada product, checks in at No. 5.

Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout is ranked seventh, New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey is eighth, Boston Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz is ninth and Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo is 10th.
