Mountain West, Pac-12 in partnership talks

Mountain West commissioner Craig Thompson has talked to the Pac-12 Conference about a partnership, according to a CBSSports.com report.

Thompson told CBS Sports the Pac-12 is open to an agreement in which the conferences would coordinate nonleague scheduling, share officials and work together on bowl matchups.

The conferences already play each other in bowls in Las Vegas and New Mexico.
