Weekend TV lineup features Mayweather-Pacquiao, Kentucky Derby, NBA and NHL playoffs

It’ll be fitting if Carpe Diem, at 8-1 odds, wins Saturday’s Kentucky Derby. The horse’s Latin name, which translates to “seize the day,” could be seized as a motto this weekend by sports fans, who on Saturday alone can feast their eyes on the aforementioned “Greatest Two Minutes in Sports” (1 p.m., NBC (3)); the “Fight of the Century” (6 p.m., HBO and Showtime PPV ($99.99)) between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand Garden; the NBA and NHL playoffs; the NFL Draft (9 a.m., ESPN (30)); and a Red Sox-Yankees game at Boston’s Fenway Park (10:30 a.m., MLBN (314)).
