These are some of the best things that happened during winter storm Jonas

Winter storm "Jonas" pummeled the Northeast this weekend by dumping up to 30 inches of snow in some cities, making it one of the largest snow storms in history.

With more than 60 million people under storm warnings and 250,000 without power, according to USA Today, residents in the snow-plagued region made the most out of #Blizzard2016 by getting outside and enjoing the snow in some of the best ways possible — having snowball fights and going sledding down the largest hills they could find (or make).

From a giant "Star Wars"-themed snowball fight in Washington D.C., to people snowboarding through the streets of New York City, to President Obama's dog Bo barking at falling snowflakes, here are some of the best sights of people enjoying the record-breaking snow storm.
