Dad shoots daughter during gun safety lesson
A Florida father accidentally shot his young daughter while teaching her about gun safety, police said.
Davie, Fla., police responded Sunday night to the shooting, CBS Miami reported. They said a 12-year-old girl had been shot in the arm.
“She had blood all over her,” Cindy Barnes, a friend of a neighbor said. “She was hunched over when she was walking out and we saw the dad out there with the police. He seemed really calm.”
The girl was taken to the hospital in stable condition. It's unclear if the father will face any charges.
