Chefs of the Gods: In celebration of Caesars Palace’s 50th golden anniversary, the resort is hosting a culinary event including chefs Gordon Ramsay and Guy Savoy from 1 to 3 p.m. April 30 in the Octavius Ballroom at 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South. The Royal Tea is designed for families and friends with or without children to enjoy the pomp and circumstance of a royal tea and royal court entertainment. Dress for Success and Crave partnership: Through May 4, Dress for Success Southern Nevada, a local nonprofit that provides gently used professional clothing and career counseling services to empower women to achieve economic independence, is set to partner with Crave American Kitchen & Sushi Bar in Downtown Summerlin, 10970 Rosemary Park Drive, as part of the restaurant group’s Crave Cares program. Upcoming support events include:

— Round up checks to the nearest dollar or add any donation amount, and proceeds will benefit Dress for Success Southern Nevada, through Crave America’s partnership with Round It Up America.

— A percentage of the proceeds from items purchased off the Crave Cares chef specials menu will benefit Dress for Success Southern Nevada.

— Drop off new or gently used professional clothing, shoes and accessories in the designated donation area inside the restaurant.

Discovering Wine class: The session is planned from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays through May 4, at Pinot’s Palette, 1000 S. Rampart Blvd. For those 21 or older, the class is all about tasting. Food Revolution Day: Create A Change Now and partner The Reset Project announced their second joint health education event celebrating Food Revolution Day with a 555 dinner at VegeNation, 616 E. Carson Ave., Suite 120, planned from 6:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. May 15. A preceding reception is set for 5:30 p.m. Food Revolution Day is a global campaign that sets out to put practical food education back on school curriculums. The dinner is to highlight five Las Vegas chefs, creating a five course-dinner from five local farms while educating individuals on nutritional values and the importance of healthy eating. Valley View Blvd. It is set to feature a selection of beers from local, regional, national and international brewers. Advance tickets are $35 each; VIP admission is $75 and includes access to an indoor, air-conditioned lounge with complimentary food and exclusive beer offerings. Springs Preserve members receive $5 off all ticket options. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended as admission is limited to the first 2,000 ticket holders.
