Seeking those attractions is but one of the bucket list full of fun to be found in “100 Things to do in Las Vegas Before You Die,” the newest in Reedy Press’ 100 Things city series. Former Las Vegas Review-Journal journalists Laura Carroll and Adam Kealoha Causey channel a lifetime of experience into the insiders’ exploration of Las Vegas’ must-do experiences. The list, peppered with photos by Martin S. Fuentes, is packed with suggestions on where to eat, music and entertainment options, sports and recreation destinations, culture, history, shopping and fashion, along with suggested itineraries and an index. And unlike many guidebooks penned by fly-in authors, not all the tips are for the Strip. There are side jaunts from Mount Charleston and Gilcrease Orchard to Bonnie Springs and Boulder City.
