Joelene and Lace Smith of Henderson shared this photo. "Chip is a very special dog. He developed cataracts when he was 6 years old, and we had to have them removed. A few months later, he began running into walls, and the vet told us he had developed a tumor and an infection, so he had one eye removed, and one went dead. We didn't know if we could handle a blind dog, but this dog immediately learned how to cope. Chip learned to do all that he did and more before he went blind. Chip's disability did not keep him down. He jumps, plays and makes me and my husband smile everyday. He is now 9 years old and loves to walk to the park and go on car rides. His favorite thing to do is go to the yogurt shop and get a yummy doggie cone."

My name is Pasha (I.D. No. A735967), and I'm a 7-month-old female Yorkshire terrier/border terrier mix. I'm a young girl, but I've been working hard to learn manners at the shelter so that when I grow up, I'll be a well-behaved lady. Don't let my size fool you. Even though I'm small, I have a big personality. I love to run around; I'm a very active pup. I like being pampered, too. Come meet me and all of my friends at the shelter today.
Rubie-7 ½ year old female poodle Hi! I am a mature female poodle looking for a forever home. My family left me with some friends when they moved out of state, but promised to come back for me. I waited patiently for over 2 months, but they never came back. The family’s friends couldn’t keep me, so I am living in a foster home now. I am looking for a home that doesn’t mind having a senior girl like me around. I like to sleep in bed. I don’t really care to be crated or confined. I am too old for that stuff. Once I get to know you, I am your dedicated companion. Some may even say I am a little clingy. If you think you have the time for me, then please give Happy Home Animal Sanctuary a call at 702-203-4134.
Kaya is a happy, healthy, energetic and lovable little girl looking for a home. She's 2 years old, vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and house-trained. Kaya's great with children and has even been around infants. She can be dog selective, so a meet-and-greet with existing pets is required. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 702-582-7534 for more information.

I am puzzled that nobody has asked to meet me yet. I'm super sweet, full of love, only 8 pounds, and great with people and dogs. My name is Jigsaw and I am a young Chihuahua, neutered boy, about 3 years of age. Please give me the chance to win your heart. The Nevada SPCA is a no-kill animal sanctuary at 4800 W. Dewey Drive, Las Vegas. For more information, visit nevadaspca.org or call 702-873-7722.
