Centennial Hills resident has made paranormal investigation life’s work

Are we alone?

It's the question that has haunted mankind for generations.

Though there are many skeptics on the subject, the vast Universe leaves us to wonder if Earth was really the only planet where life thrives.

It's a question that has been plaguing Centennial Hills resident and paranormal investigator Tracie Austin since 1989.

"I was chatting with my best friend at the YMCA when I looked out of a window because something in the sky caught my attention," Austin said. "It was a cone-shaped object with a pointy top and rounded bottom. It looked to be metallic by the way the sunlight was glittering off of it. It was rotating. I looked at my friend and said, 'What the bloody hell is that?' We both watched it move across the sky and out of view."

The experience was so powerful that Austin, who was studying at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama as a concert pianist, changed her life path.

"It was a real wakeup call," Austin said.

Since then, she said she has experienced more than a dozen sightings, mostly during the day. She began attending UFO conferences and has become a strong voice in the UFO and extraterrestrial community.

"I happen to be involved in the paranormal and spiritual warfare community and know that Tracie has contributed a lot to the UFO community with her TV show years ago in LA and her books on the subject," said The Rev. Shawn Whittington, an ordained spiritual warfare minister with Ghost-B-Gone, a company that specializes in getting rid of extra-unwanted guests. "I plan to have Tracie on my radio show 'Vegas Supernatural' in the near future."

In May 1996, she witnessed a second sighting, which she describes as a profound black boomerang object that changed shape and was observed by other witnesses.

She claims it made a second appearance that day over her house.

The television channel BBC Digital became aware of her sighting, and during the making of its TV documentary "Over the Moon," Austin re-enacted her story.

"I know what I've seen, and we do not have craft like that," Austin said. "I witnessed an elongated, diamond-shaped (craft) hover 200 feet above my car in Studio City. It was totally silent. I know they are here. We are being visited, and the government knows about it. They just don't know how to share information and make it public."

In 2001, she moved to California and soon after started the "Let's talk Paranormal" television show, which she hosted from 2002-06. She has plans to bring the show back. It won three Telly awards for excellence. The awards honor the best in film and video productions, groundbreaking online video content, and outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs.

She moved to Las Vegas in 2006 and wrote "Haunted Las Vegas," which details true ghost accounts in the Silver State as researched and documented by the Las Vegas Society of Supernatural Investigations.

Her second book, "Alien Encounters in the Western United States," details nine alien abduction accounts and features photographs of alleged alien implants, which were surgically removed by Dr. Roger Leir.

Austin said that before Leir died, he removed 17 implants that were made from metal and pieces of meteorite in the form of a delta or T shape.

Most accounts feature Grey aliens, which are alleged extraterrestrial beings that are tall and gray and have a large head and large eyes, according to Austin.

She claims they are interested in family lineage and bloodlines.

"If you've been taken, then your mother and mother's mother have also been taken," Austin said. "My research leads me to believe that they have a reproductive agenda."

Austin said she talked to people who claim they were abducted only to have their sperm or eggs taken for the purpose of creating hybrids.

"Those who have been taken to meet their hybrid children describe them as looking human with two arms and legs, but their face carries a different trait," Austin said. "They have big eyes and a tiny nose and mouth. The way the face is shaped is similar to a being with a pointed chin. My best guess is that they intend to feed hybrid life on this planet at some point."

She believes that the abductees are mentally stable but distraught that they are being taken against their will. Abductees come from different races and backgrounds.

Most people just want answers, she said.

"We are definitely being visited, without a shadow of a doubt," Austin said. "There is more evidence for it than against it. The billion-dollar question is, why are they here?"
