Elixir is a modern lounge that feels like Old Vegas. It’s modern with 14 high-definition televisions, yet traditional with its hand-crafted menu from executive chef Mike Higgins. Breakfast, served throughout the day, includes French toast, biscuits and sausage gravy, three-egg omelets with hash browns, country fried steak and eggs, and breakfast burrito, where a large flour tortilla is filled with three scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and choice of ham, bacon or sausage. Among the sandwiches are BLT with applewood bacon, turkey and Brie, French dip, ground chuck hamburger with white cheddar on a pretzel bun, turkey or veggie patty on a brioche bun and The Italian with capicola, prosciutto, salami, pepperoni, red and green bell peppers, lettuce, Provolone and red wine vinaigrette on a hoagie. Featured entrees are beef stroganoff, grilled salmon with mushroom risotto, pan-roasted bone-in pork chop with fingerling potatoes and rosemary apples, seared beef medallions and capellini pomodoro. There are soups, salads (Italian Cobb, chicken Caesar, spinach) and desserts, including carrot cake and banana fritters. Popular appetizers are mashed potato bites, chipotle chicken nachos, shrimp cocktail and button mushrooms filled with cream cheese and bacon.
