Dining Pick of the Week: Sincity Burgers

7920 W. Tropical Parkway at Centennial Parkway, 702-413-7272

Laura Tolliver and Korey Davis are veterans of the fast-food industry who have developed a homemade gourmet burger that is sinfully delicious. The 100 percent Angus beef patties are topped with American cheese, green leaf lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, signature sauce and mustard. All you have to decide is how hungry you are, as these hamburgers range from a quarter-pound all the way to a 3-pounder ($25.99). Now that’s sinful! Signature hamburgers include the Frontier with cheddar, bacon, onion rings and barbecue sauce. Make your hamburger special with add-ons including chili, guacamole and mushrooms. Hand-scooped ice cream milkshakes (vanilla, Oreo, strawberry, chocolate, coffee) are topped with whipped cream. Among the wraps, filled with green leaf lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese and ranch dressing, are grilled chicken, crispy chicken and turkey. There are all-beef hot dogs and two really sinful desserts: fried Oreos and fried Twinkies dusted with powdered sugar and drizzled in chocolate. Hamburgers start at $3.69, and milkshakes start at $4.49. Sincity Burgers is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. — Jack Bulavsky
