BOULEVARD MALL HAS NEW OWNERS

The Boulevard Mall, 3528 S. Maryland Parkway, was purchased by Sansone Cos., a longtime local real estate firm, for $54.5 million on Nov. 21.

The 1.2 million-square-foot mall is Las Vegas’ oldest shopping center.

The mall’s former owner, Rouse Properties, surrendered the mall to foreclosure rather than try to support its $168 million in debt.

Representatives from the newly formed Sansone Companies/Boulevard Ventures LLC said they intend to keep the mall’s existing tenants and add tenants and vendors. There are also plans for renovations.
