Wet ‘n’ Wild Las Vegas announced extended Friday and Saturday hours until 10 p.m. through Aug. 23, and a new Dive ‘n’ Movies program that will feature an outdoor family movie by the wave pool on select Fridays through Aug. 23. “The Lilly Oncology On Canvas Art Competition and Exhibition,” a free public exhibition that showcases select pieces of art created by people touched by cancer, is slated to be at 8975 W. Three sea-based traveling exhibits are set to be on display through August at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, 900 Las Vegas Blvd. North. “Sea Monsters” explores scary characteristics of undersea dwellers; “Discovery Reef” looks at the interconnection of coral reefs; and “Sanctuary Reef” features a replica of a coral reef in the Florida Keys and discusses the human impact on it.
