HELP WITH HOMEWORK TO BE AVAILABLE AT LIBRARY

The Whitney Library, 5175 E. Tropicana Ave., plans to host a homework tutoring session at 3:30 p.m. every Monday through Thursday.

Homework Help tutors are slated to be available at the Whitney Library from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

EVENT TO FOCUS ON MANAGING EMOTIONS

The Paradise Recreation Center, 4775 McLeod Drive, is scheduled to host An Ocean of Emotion from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 18.

The free event is set to feature mental and physical exercises to manage emotions, presented by exercise therapist Karen Brown-Gordon.

The Winchester Town Advisory Board is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 McLeod Drive.

The Paradise Town Advisory Board is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Paradise Recreation and Community Services Center, 4775 McLeod Drive.

The Whitney Town Advisory Board is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Whitney Recreation Center, 5712 Missouri Ave.

The Sunrise Manor Town Advisory Board is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Hollywood Recreation and Community Services Center, 1650 S. Hollywood Blvd.
