Las Vegas Valley looking at ‘nice stretch’ of warm, dry weather this week
It's a good week to grab lunch al fresco.
The valley is looking at a "nice stretch" of warm, dry weather, a National Weather Service official said.
Tuesday's high is expected to be 74 degrees, and the morning low should reach 45, meteorologist Todd Lericos said. The next few days will be similar.
"There's a couple-degree bump each day," Lericos said, "but it's pretty much dead-even the whole week."
Lericos said it would be a few degrees cooler this weekend — Sunday's forecast high is 70 degrees — but "most people won't even notice," he said.
He added there won't be much wind, either.
This week's temps are 10 degrees above average and will melt away some snow on Mount Charleston. The mountain had 14 inches of snow Monday.
